After work today...
I walked up to Dupont Circle to play some chess. I arrived at 5:13.
I didn't look at my watch until 7:30 was already history. Over two and half hours pushing pawns and I'm not sure I blinked. The same thing happened yesterday in an empty classroom on campus: I dropped two hours playing chess with a Kazakh exchange student in my Chinese politics seminar.
Chess makes me smarter, and what's more, I enjoy it. Surely, there can't be too much of such a good thing, can there?
